either not typing to the xsl processor what you typed in your mail
message (which looked correct to me) or using an XSL processor which
does not support the {} syntax, of which I think the only one left is
the one in IE5 or using an XSL processor that is working to the April
rather than July draft, which used expr="3" rather than select="3".
