fo:page-sequence and fo:sequence-specification questions

Subject: fo:page-sequence and fo:sequence-specification questions

fo sequence
I have a few questions about the page-level formatting objects in the
current XSL WD:

1) fo:page-sequence has a property called sequence-src. For
definition, the WD refers you to the XSLT WD, which doesn't appear to
say anything about it. Does anyone know what sequence-src means?

2) The last sentence of the last paragraph under "Common use:" in the
description of fo:sequence-specification (4.3.3) says, "Finally one
can intermix the two kinds of sequence specifiers."

If I understand things correctly, this "intermixing" is limited to
having some finite number of fo:sequence-specifier-single items
followed by at most _one_ of either fo:sequence-specifier-alternating
or fo:sequence-specifier-repeating. Any sequence specifiers following
that -alternating or -repeating specifier would never be used.
Correct?

3) fo:sequence-specification acts as a container for sequence
specifiers, but doesn't appear to have any other purpose, as a simple
list of sequence specifiers within the enclosing fo:page-sequence
would work just as well. Does fo:sequence-specification have any other
usefulness that I'm missing?

-Steve
