I do think that people using the experimental XSL processors have a
duty to keep up with the XSL drafts. Why switch to the new XT unless
you have checked the changes in the XSL draft which prompted the new
release? You would soon find your questions answered in the appendices 
to XSLT and XPATH which list changes since the April draft. The names
of the parameter variable elements have changed, as has at least one
of the attributes.
