Some XSL parsers inpliment a hack of allowing you to generate HTML. XSL in
and of itself only caters to the production of XML.

Have you tried <link>&#32;</link>? Might that be legal in NS?

As for HRs, personally I think the world is a better place without them :)

Subject:  empty elements again...




Hi all,
Elements like <link> and <hr> are empty elements in HTML. If I create them
with XT, I get <link/> and <hr/>. It's fine by me (and IE and Opera have no
problem with it), but Netscape doesn't seem to accept this syntax.
Is there a work-around in XSL to produce empty elements without the XML
syntax?
