there is the considerable *disadvantage* of TeXML that your DSSSL spec can
equally easily produce RTF or MIF output which will look more or less
the same as TeX, but if you use TeXML you are committed to
TeX-the-processor-for-all-time-until-death-do-you-part.

abstract formatting formatting objects, don't you just love them?
