We generate User Interface from XML documents using DOM.
Our documents are composed of elements, where some are interpreted as items
to be edited. For each editable item we generate a Graphical User
Interface element with Java AWT. The generated interface element
depends on the XML structure of the item.
We also generate HTML versions of documents via XSL for
browsing purpose but we have not tried yet to generate a GUI that way.
