[XSL-LIST Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] XSL as a DB query language
Do you think that XSL could really be used as a generic XML Repository
Query Language ?
What would the more evident limitations be ?
Is there any alternative (for example: SQL or OQL extensions, XPointer,
etc) ?
And are you aware of any existing prototype of an XSL query engine ?
Thanks in advance.
Titto
P.S.
An aside question: are you aware of any good XML data repository
technology ?
I was able to find only the ObjectStore and Poet offerings, I guess that
there should be something more, especially in the field of SQL
databases.
