xml interchangeability

This quote is from Tim Bray's "RDF & Metadata" page. To me, it suggests
that XML pages are easily sent/routed/mailed - somehow communicated. Is
that true? How?

<quote>
Interchange
                            Since RDF Properties can be converted into XML,
 they are easy for us to interchange. This
                            would probably be necessary even if we did have
 www.GOD.org.

Thanks very much,

Mike Oliphant
