This appears to be a monumental work. On first glance there appears to be missing something that could be potentially useful, although it is possible that future versions of scripting languages could take this up. It would be nice to know the color depth of the users monitor.(I know JS does this) It would be nice to know the resolution and the pixels per inch of the users monitor to enable presentation in absolute sizes.i.e inches instead of "logical" inches.
