Non believers :-)

I think their question is a fair question to ask.

What would be helpful would be obviously not an absolute number, but  
an order of magnitude,
or the relative importance of the XQuery dev community with respect to  
other communities.

The "absolute truth" isn't interesting.

What is more interesting are personal guesses, experiences and  
anecdotes from people
on this mailing list.

(and no, I am not gone tell any statistician ... :-)
