This depnds on the XQuery engine you use. E.g. for my own Web site, the Java-based XQuery engine I use is Qizx, and it does support a way to connect to a erlational database (I'm assuming this is what you are asking here?), but the zero-dollar version of that product is limited to a database of only one gigabyte of XML. > When will there be a new/newer specification of XQuery (->XQuery 2.0) > Is it possible to get an overview of the planed changes and new > possibilities ?
