XQuery Update engine

Hi,

I think practically all XQuery databases provide some update  
mechanism. X-Hive does, and X-Hive/DB 8.0 will implement the W3C  
Update Specification.

X-Hive/DB is typically accessed through a Java API, including a  
persistent, transactional DOM implementation.
