Again, from the publishing point of view this is largely irrelevant. The
only real candidate would have been a date format for date= attributes,
and its principal use would be to enforce the yyyy-mm-dd format on those
doing data entry.

(Actually, if you rename the date attribute to YYYY-MM-DD your error
rate at data entry time will fall to near zero :-)
