I'm seeing many parallels between work we've done here in markup and work that's described as the latest and greatest elsewhere. There are common roots, of course, in work done long ago. <http://programming.oreilly.com/2013/10/transformative-programming.html> From an XML perspective, XProc plays a starring role here, making it relatively easy for people to connect transformations rather than build transformations. Thanks to everyone here and at Balisage for various combinations that made these connections seem more real. Thanks, -- Simon St.Laurent http://simonstl.com/
