So perhaps the real question is: what happens when validation finds 
errors? Who is told about the errors, and how do they get fixed? If 
different kinds of error go to different people for attention then 
perhaps there is some point in using different tools/schemas to control 
the validation, and in selecting a tool that will produce the most 
meaningful error messages for the person whose job it is to act on them.
