It's probably clear that whatever the definition of "web community" actually is, from any perspective, it's members adopt or reject XSLT depending on circumstance. However, I don't think XSLT has failed to penetrate that community by any measure. Most web people understand XSLT is the best at what it does and the web community in general (both server and client side devs) have experimented with it and have worked a lot to make the technology more easily accessible and productively useful, something one would expect from, e.g. middleware or browser vendors. Overall I'd say the "web community" has used XSLT and has worked on higher level tools a lot more than the rest of the world... Cheers, Manos
