Re: XML Conferences in 2009?
>> Is there a conference where there will be smart XML people

1. The X-Schemas 2009 workshop will run during the Advances in Databases and
Information Systems conference (7-10 September in Riga, Latvia)
http://www.adbis2009.org/

2. DataServices World will include some sessions having content that might be of
interest. The 2008 events had sessions with XML, RDF and XQuery-related content.
YouTube has trailers for the videos recorded during a dozen or so of those
sessions:

You can watch the complete videos at

The venue and date for the 2009 conference has not been finalized.

3. It's not an XML-focused event but O'Reilly is offering a 40% friends and
family discount for the O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference, March 9-12,
2009 in San Jose, California.

To receive the discount, members of this list can use pass code et09ffd when
