But it isn't that there are ads added to one's mailings so much
as that the impression is given that the links to the ads were
the intention of the author.

It could of course be that I might have intended the link, and used
the fact that it will appear as part of the intention of my message.
We could have some fun doing that - but for legal reasons of course
I wouldn't recommend it :-)

I must add here though that in the above message, all links are
NOT my intention and if there are any then they are added without
my approval but rather with my objection.

Not that I dislike the product in question. I do use it a lot with much
satisfaction and, no, I don't have any interests in saying that. But I
bought it long ago (version 4?) - perhaps before the present practises
started.
