I use XML for data and docs. As far as I can see JSON makes my life easier for 10% (or less) of my needs at the cost of learning yet another technology. There's a real advantage in a technology (XML) for all seasons. There again I guess if all I did was program AJAX, JSON might be better. At the moment it's yet another language (YAL).
