[XML-DEV Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] So, what's new in the world of RELAX NG?
As much as I am personally sorry to say it, the tentative answer seems to be "not much". The various sites such as http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=relax-ng http://www.relaxng.org/ http://xml.coverpages.org/relax-ng.html and XML.com have few links to anything in 2004. Likewise, just doing a text search on the "agenda at a glance", XML 2002 seems to have had 3 presentations on RELAX NG, XML 2003 had 1, and XML 2004 had none. So, is this because RELAX NG is mature and people are productively using it and don't need to talk about it, or has it hit a plateau (or worse) in the adoption curve? Does anyone want to argue that it is quietly gaining traction and mindshare in the real world of end-users? Remember, I'm asking about *is*, not *should* :-)
