First, let me say learning XSL will be useful for many things (not just transforming to HTML). It can be quite confusing to get started though. In other words don't expect to up and running too quickly. You probably will want to get on the XSL list (extremely nice to newbies): http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list/ Read the FAQ: http://www.dpawson.co.uk/xsl/index.html Read Michael Kay's XSL Programmers reference 2cnd edition. I would start with XSL version 1, rather than version 2 (at least until there is at least two well-working processors (currently there is only one - Saxon 8x)) There are plenty of tutorials out there (just google). > > I am messing around with some code in ASP.Net to handle the > transformation and am slowly building up my first XSLT template based > on a site I am working on. > > Ultimately I want to convert my ASP.Net based CMS app to use XML/XSLT > for templating. good choice :) best, -Rob Koberg http://livestoryboard.com
