David brought to my attention that "XPattern" is no longer a common way
of saying "XSLT Pattern".  I think "XPattern" was actually the official
name in one of the earlier XSLT WDs, but I forget now exactly where the
term comes from.  While googling out of curiosity all the cites for
"XPattern" I found dated back to 1999-2001, except for my own usage in
articles and postings.

That's too bad.  I liked the name, even more than "XPath".
