I had that functionality on various consumer electronics devices in the 
last 20 years and I always hated it. I hope it gets patented, so it's 
gone once and for all. In case it turns up on my Windows machine, I 
guess there will be help from an animated paper-clip that instructs me: 
Keep pressing! Keep pressing! Keep pressing!
