technology development
Technology is not a solution.  It is an enabler.  Smart people use technology
well and it amplifies their 'smarts'.   Otherwise, GIGO At The Speed of Light.

real time?

Technology is not the answer.  It is part of an environment in which answers
are hammered down by the same means as before.

No one will get better standards without looking at all three legs of what
I've described because better has to mean better in the environment, not
just a competitive advantage for one or two companies, one or two groups,
or individuals.   In contrast to business processes, standards processes
are meant to be given away.
