lots of advice to be had on testing in general on Boris Beizer's comp.software.testing FAQ: http://www.faqs.org/faqs/software-eng/testing-faq/ the seminal book of testing is without doubt "The Art of Software Testing" by Glenford J. Myers: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0471043281/ref=sr_aps_books_1_3/202 -1227592-8332621 the word "Art" is important here, since like Hifi, you can spend as much money as you like on testing and still never be 'done' Paul -----Original Message----- From: Steve Betten [mailto:foomanji@h...] Sent: 26 April 2004 14:52 To: boblyons@u... I don't have too much experience with writing test data; my intuitions are to test boundary cases (both valid and invalid) and some arbitrary non-boundary cases. Is there a book or online resource I can reference on this? Thanks. Steve _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
