Because your editor colours the wrong close-parenthesis in differently, and indents everything `wrongly', so that if you do somehow get an unmatched parenthesis in there, you find out pretty soon. Even vi has support for brace matching. It's just not an issue. Or rather, it's precisely as much an issue as getting the right close-tag in instance syntax. That's not a problem because that type of mindless bureaucracy is just what computers are here to help with.
