It makes it a lot easier to link to other people's anchors if you can see
them!

JavaScript/DOM hack that rewrites the current document to show anchors.  

(If you haven't encountered Bookmarklets before, just remember to put it all
on one line.)

that added ids to html elements (maybe more than one hop) so that sections
in web
pages could be linked to.
