I tried to do that by using the <key> and the <keyref> elements of XML Schema. XML Spy just ignores the <key> definitions, though. They are well-formed but XML Spy ignores to check the key constraints in XML instance documents. Is XML Spy capable of evaluating <key><keyref> elements and XPath expressions?
