And how are the web browser vendors reacting to this? Are there any 
plans to integrate it into Mozilla or IE? Could it be implemented as 
a plug-in without vendor support? And if so, will it be?

It's one thing to prepare a technology for browsers. It's quite 
another to get it adopted.
