Brian, Oracle JDeveloper 10g Preview has a new visual XML Schema browsing and editing design tool. It's part of a fully-functional Java IDE, so the combo might be more functionality than you need, but it might be worth a look if you're combining XML Schema with XML Editing and Java programming, web services, or database access in some way. This link is to our product tour page. There are links to online demos of the XML Schema editor as well as a download link. If you watch the online viewlet, you can decide before downloading if it will be worth your time to check it out. http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/collateral/prodtour10g.html The JDev 10g Preview is 100% Java and works on Windows and Linux [we'll be certifying Mac/OSX for our production release] The preview is beta software, of course. The production release of JDev 10g will follow in Q1 of 2004. Our current production release 9.0.3.X does not have the XML Schema editor in it. __________________________________________________________________ Steve Muench - Developer, Product Mgr, Java/XML Evangelist, Author Building a Web Store with Struts and BC4J (BC4J Toy Store Demo) http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/products/jdev/bc4jtoystore Simplify J2EE Development with the Oracle BC4J Framework http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/htdocs/j2ee_bc4j.html Dive into BC4J at http://radio.weblogs.com/0118231/ Building Oracle XML Apps, http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/orxmlapp ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian Choate" <brian.choate@s...> To: <xml-dev@l...> Sent: Thursday, October 16, 2003 21:12 Subject: Tool for navigating xml schema's | Does anyone know of a good tool for reading and navigating XML Schema's | similarly to the way XMLSpy does?
