It seems it's the ability of the browser, but that still means no Flash and no 
Java applets (the two best pieces of news in the history of the Web) unless you 
embed them directly in the page using data: URIs. I think that if they're 
non-interactive you can still use them (eg it's fine to show video through QT so 
long as you can't control the viewer -- just as it is with images).
