Another option is to stop kicking against the traces. If everyone
understands "data-oriented" to be equivalent to "record-like" and
"document-oriented" same as "narrative", which I believe is the case, why
worry about it? The whole discussion reminds me of programmers who want to
break an API to give things "better" names.
