RE: Advice: inline node editing, or not?

RE: Advice: inline node editing
It's ok, Andrew.  One does need at least a
year on this list to discover its range of interacting
topics despite the appearance of bodenlosigkeit.  (Thanks Rob).

Open source and markup technologies have
a very long familial relationship.  At one time, the
very openness of markup made it a tough sell
so some had to lower the risks and the costs (see XML).
It took a developer community to make that happen.
Now there is a legal issue, but we can hammer it
down to where it lives, and in this case, the process
of developing the code and the price of insurance
intersect.  Good.  At least we understand that and
can respond sensibly when the lawyers hit our
cubes with questions. Yes, this is a developer
list, but others hang out here too.  Frequently,
members of this list write and publish non-technical
articles on topics thrashed out here because we
learned that technology is never free of other
dimensions of society and business.

As for me, after so many long years of being
on stage in nightclubs, my feelings are pretty well
insulated from directed offenses.  Never give it
up to a heckler.  Pump up the volume.  :-)

Does anyone have some advice for me

Jay,

Gratuitous insults directed at long-standing XML-Dev members won't enhance your chances of getting list members to spend time answering your substantive question.
