Re: DTDs: Teilite vs. Sdocbook

openoffice docbook support
Jonathan,

I can't speak strongly for the editing case between the two, nor much at all about Teilite which I know only by reputation.

However, I will say this: every substantive XML editing system I've evaluated or worked with has had some sort of DocBook support. If they also had Teilite support, I was unaware of it.

I've been considering loading Open Office. A Google search of openoffice and docbook gets a lot of feedback, about 16k hits; vis http://www.docbook.org/wiki/moin.cgi/OpenOffice
The wiki at that link plainly says that the OpenOffice Docbook support has glitches.
However, compare that to a similar search with openoffice and teilite: 17 hits

Regards,
Mitch
