Why not architecture? It certainly takes many people to erect a building, but that isn't architecture. Well known structures such as the Sydney Opera House (Jorn Utzon), the Jewish Museum Berlin and the new WTC design (Daniel Libeskind), St Paul's (Christopher Wren), and the Eiffel Tower (Gustave Eiffel) are generally considered by the general public (which includes me) to have been architected by one person. Conversely, some of the buildings around here were obviously designed by teams. :-) PJDM
