++1. More moderation is not needed. I get enough of that from my daughter during the 'Bama football season. As for going private, that feels good but I worry that like Robin's work on the Cover pages, it becomes something no one can sustain without serious support. Better to bang on OASIS and figure out what the technical problem is before we try a social fix. We are almost into haiku season. The subscription problem needs to be fixed lest we lose some of the better haikusters. len From: ari@c... [mailto:ari@c...] Some of those have volunteered to help manage the list, and I'm offering my help, too -- I have in the past offered help to OASIS staff but my offer was not welcome. As for moderation, xml-dev has done a surprisingly good job moderating itself -- it's one of those things some of like about it.
