The patron saints of XML WAS: Are There URIs in Heaven?

patron saints
XML and its patrons could use a patron saint of their own. Please forgive me
if I nominate a few candidates, all in good, late-Friday fun (it's still
Friday on this side of the world):

Saint Simon Saint Laurent, patron saint of xml-dev

Saint James Clark, patron saint of schema languages

Saint Tim Bray, patron saint of annotations and interpretations of the
arcane

Saint Sean McGrath, patron saint of Saturday morning musings

Saint John Cowan, patron saint of brevity, levity, and XML poetry (and RNC)

Saint Rick Jelliffe, patron saint of finding nodes that grammar-based
languages can't touch

Saint Mike Champion, patron saint of the sane and balanced answer

Saint Edd Dumbill, patron saint of XML writers

Saint Elliotte Rusty Harold, patron saint of object models (but not of web
services)

Please forgive me if your name does or does not appear on this list. It has
been a long week.

Mike
