Let me just say that I think there's about zero chance of this ever being adopted, either de factor or de jure. If the inmates ever take over the W3C asylum long enough to consider this proposal seriously, I suppose I might bother to explain exactly why this is such a horrible idea, but right now I don't have the energy to waste on refuting such silliness, especially when it seems obvious this will die of its own failings. Oh, one more thing: is Clear Methods publicly traded? It seems like a wonderful short opportunity. -- +-----------------------+------------------------+-------------------+ | Elliotte Rusty Harold | elharo@m... | Writer/Programmer | +-----------------------+------------------------+-------------------+ | Processing XML with Java (Addison-Wesley, 2002) | | http://www.cafeconleche.org/books/xmljava | | http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN%3D0201771861/cafeaulaitA | +----------------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Read Cafe au Lait for Java News: http://www.cafeaulait.org/ | | Read Cafe con Leche for XML News: http://www.cafeconleche.org/ | +----------------------------------+---------------------------------+
