I believe I may be doing the markup equivalent of trolling with this, but it's just too darn funny to not do it, if you have office 10 you have some xml documents in your office 10 folder(or at least I suppose they are Office 10 specific and not some later add-in, my registry indicates that the one I'm thinking of might actually have some relationship to the .Net Framework), some of these can be quite instructive about how parts of office hang together, others however are well-represented by the following: <Ctnr><Opts>303,219,1218,934,255,2,1,1,0,0,0,0</Opts><Ctnr><Opts>303,219 ,1030,934,255,3,0,1,0,0,0,0</Opts><Ctnr><Opts>303,219,1030,934,255,2,0,1 ,0,0,0,0</Opts><Ctnr><Opts>303,219,1030,934,255,3,1,1,0,0,0,0</Opts><Ctn r><Opts>2300,1227,2491,1738,10,0,0,0,0,0,0,0</Opts><Name>{ECDD9EE0-AC6B- 11D0-89F9-00A0C9110055}</Name></Ctnr> yeah the Ctnr(control-number?) tags all close properly. probably it's a security hazard for me to post this but what the hey! At any rate I'm just happy it's xml cause now I can get at it with xslt. Heh.
