Let me try to change where this thread is heading somewhat by asking you
this:

What are XHTML 2.0 biggest benefits over XHTML 1.0 ? And has the industry
caught up enough to release 2.0 ?

The logic is quite simple:

   - AndrewWatt2000@a... can't refrain from posting ugly HTML to mailing
lists
   - XHTML 2.0 is a big improvement on ugly HTML
     => XHTML 2.0 will make several lists less painful to follow
