Given that I consistently incinerate press releases that use phrases like that, I'm not inclined to see that language infiltrate supposedly technical discussion. So far as I can tell, XML itself is about information and communication, not business. It certainly has business applications in whatever sense you choose to use the word, but I see no reason to use "business" with its multiple connotations when there are alternatives that are both more accurate and more inclusive.
