The problem is, the above come from the XULPlanet reference, not an
official document...

I'm currently building an XML Schema (no flames please!). I have no
relation with Mozilla.org but I will submit it for review.

I don't think it's poorly designed, although poorly documented. Even if
it is, it works great; I especially appreciate the layout model and the
speed in which one can build cross platform apps. Add Mozilla's advanced
CSS and DOM support and you have any web developer's dream platform. Add
XPCOM and the Mozilla codebase and there are some serious opportunities
in there.

Sadly, I cannot argue with that. However, the privilege of being able to
view the actual sourcecode is much better than any documentation under
certain circumstances...
