Hi Ron & Bob, Thanks for your help. I think I found something I can use in Xalan. However, I do not only need to query it, I also need to update the value in the xml file. Do you know if there are APIs to write to the xml file? For example, if I find the node using XPathAPI.selectSingleNode("//Foo"), and then I update the value of that node. Could anybody tell me how to write it back to the actually xml file so the change I made is there. Thanks a lot.
