Sorry to confuse anyone.   I was not making a point regarding REST in 
particular, merely pointing out an article that seems to reflect the 
somewhat fickle nature of the software industry - always searching 
for the "next big thing".  Some of these things turn out to be truly 
Big Things while many are merely Interesting Things (which later 
become Unproftable Things that get us in a mess o' trouble).
