We are proud to annonce that the first public version of IPSI-XQ
v.1.0.1. is now available for download. It is available for free for
none commercial usage.

"IPSI-XQ is a prototype of an XQuery processor. It is implemented as
faithfully as possible along the current W3C Working Drafts. So it has a
parser for the user level syntax, a mapping to the core language, a
static and dynamic type checker, a static type inference for the result
type and last but not least, an evaluation module for the query."
