RE: Remove Node


remove from xml
Assuming you're doing it in XSLT: write an identity template rule that
copies all nodes (there's an example in the XSLT specification under
<xsl:copy>), then write an overriding template rule that discards the
unwanted node and all its descendants (which is what I assume you want):

<xsl:template match="NODE2"/>
