processContents="lax" means that the element appearing in the wildcard position will be validated only if there's a schema definition associated with it. If there is no definition, any content is allowed. namespace="##other" indicates that any element from namespace (but not unqualified elements) other than the the target namespace is allowed. combined, the wildcard allows any element qualified with a namespace other than the target namespace to appear at that location if : there is no schema definition for the element -OR- there is a definition and the element is valid. > -----Original Message----- > From: trasverso@k...
