Just to be absolutely clear about this, both XML 1.1 and Namespaces
1.1 have very limited ambitions. XML 1.1 aims to resolve various
character-level issues (newer Unicode versions, line ends, Unicode
normalization). Namespaces 1.1 aims to add undeclaring of prefixes.
Both will incorporate errata to the current editions.

That's all. No throwing out DTDs, no making them work with
namespaces. No unification of the two specs. Sorry.
