No, I think they identify the Real World objects (mostly, but not
exclusively, persons) which are reachable by dialing those phone
numbers.  The URI of the phone number itself (a digit string)
would be something like "data:application/x-phonenum,555-1212"

Well, then we raise the issue of the authority by which RDF
statements are issued, and why we should believe them -- a vexed
