Looking at the RELAXNGCC parser generator respiked my interest in using XSLT to generate things like JavaCC grammars. Indeed to the extent that an XML 'complex type' is essentially a regular XML expressions, and that simple types are essentially regular string expressions, I've thought it would be interesting to further develop the XML/EBNF stuff so that it might be suitable for expressing attribute 'types' and subtypes of element PCDATA, etc. Jonathan [1] http://www.openhealth.org/XSet/ ?
